La Parenthèse is the fruit of our imagination and our work. Both from Bayonne, we decided to highlight our beautiful region by sharing it with our hosts.
Our house is an old labourdine farm from the 18th century that we have completely redesigned and renovated. We have kept the stone walls and exposed beams and have combined them with current materials. Today, it looks like us, adapts perfectly to our way of life, simple and authentic.
This place was first our family home in which our children grew up, built themselves before taking off. Three children and three horses, the children are gone and the horses, happy in this preserved environment, always keep us company. Now, our home is home to our guest rooms, a place of sharing, full of life but also a place of relaxation, calm and appeasement.
From the terraces of the building, you enjoy a magnificent view of the Pyrenees, a constantly changing spectacle.
Breakfasts are served outside if the weather permits.
The spa under cover and oriented towards the mountains is at your disposal, winter and summer.
For breakfasts, we discuss before your arrival to bring you satisfaction.
La Parenthèse offers a maximum capacity of 14 people:
- a bedroom with a double bed
- two communicating rooms with 2 double beds
- two suites of 40 m² with 2 double beds each or 1 double bed and a lounge area
WiFi access, as well as television screens, are available to our guests.
Our structure is also suitable for the organization of work seminars with the provision of our living room for the conduct of meetings.
Our rates include linens, breakfast and spa access offered.
Our quotes are personalized according to the length of your stay and the number of rooms reserved.
We regularly communicate to our subscribers information on demonstrations, events, places of visits and specificities of our dear Basque Country.
We welcome you to our house and advise you in the organization of your stays.
The village of Bardos being located in the heart of the Basque Country, between sea and mountains, you are 30 minutes from the beaches of Anglet, Biarritz or the south of the Landes as well as 20 minutes from beautiful mountain hikes.
Many sports and cultural activities are available to you, nearby, such as:
- visit historical sites and typical villages

- go for a walk on the coast
- enjoy the pleasures of surfing, the beach and water parks
- discover local craft workshops, espadrille factory, Basque linen weaving
